Itinerary
Day 01 :
Arrival in Gorumara
- Arrival in Gorumara: Arrive at Bagdogra Airport or New Jalpaiguri Railway Station and proceed to Gorumara. Check-in at your resort or hotel in Gorumara and freshen up.
- Visit Murti River and Explore the Local Market: After freshening up at the hotel, you can visit the nearby Murti River for a leisurely walk or relax amidst nature. In the evening, you can explore the local market, or enjoy a cultural program (if available). Stay overnight in Gorumara.
Day 02 :
Visit Gorumara National Park
- Visit Gorumara National Park: Wake up early and embark on an exciting jeep safari in the Gorumara National Park. The park is known for its diverse wildlife, including Indian rhinoceros, Indian elephants, bison, deer, and various bird species. Enjoy the thrill of spotting animals and capturing the beauty of the jungle in your camera.
- Visit the Gorumara Watchtower: After the safari, you can visit the Gorumara Watchtower for panoramic views of the national park. Return to your hotel and relax. Stay overnight in Lataguri.
Day 03 :
Departure from Gorumara
- Departure from Gorumara: After breakfast, check out of your hotel in Gorumara and proceed to Jaldapara. Enroute, you can visit the Chilapata Forest, a lesser-known but enchanting forest area known for its unique ecosystem and wildlife.
- Arrival in Jaldapara: Check-in at your resort or hotel in Jaldapara and relax. In the evening, you can take a nature walk around the resort or visit the nearby local villages. Stay overnight in Jaldapara.
Day 04 :
Visit Jaldapara Wildlife Sanctuary
- Visit Jaldapara Wildlife Sanctuary: Wake up early and proceed for an exciting elephant safari in the Jaldapara Wildlife Sanctuary. Jaldapara is famous for its population of Indian one-horned rhinoceros, Bengal tigers, Indian elephants, and various other wildlife species.
- After the safari, return to your resort and have breakfast. Check out of the resort and depart for Bagdogra Airport or New Jalpaiguri Railway Station for your onward journey.
